Man can poke holes on any part of their body. And the most bold example which I saw today is this picture. This man has skillfully pierced his septum and nasal. You can see multiple surface piercings on his lips and even his eyebrows are pierced with barbell rings.

Elaine Davidson from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, made a world record of most pierced women in Guinness Book Of World Records in August 9, 2001 for 720 piercings. Presently she has 3,920 body piercings and tattoos.
She first broke the record in May 2000, when a Guinness World Records official examined her and found 462 piercings on various parts of her body, including 192 on her facial area alone.
She never removes her rings and studs and she says that her piercing ornaments do not distract her sleep. She is not addicted to any bad habits.
Talking about eyeglasses is something normal but if you relate these eyeglasses with piercing then it becomes a matter to be talked about. James Sooy last year developed a pair of eyeglasses with the help of his friend Oliver. The peculiar thing about these eyeglasses is that they are pierced into the bridge of your nose.
Until date, this idea is not for sale but James dream to bring out marketable version of it. If these eyeglasses are for sale, they might cost you around or above $100 according to me.
Now you might be bit confused how to pierce these eyeglasses so here is the systematic procedure:
• Get pierced - an internally-threaded barbell that goes through the skin above the bridge of your nose
• Use a tabletop mill to cut the L-shaped metal pieces that screw onto the barbell
• Attach rare earth magnets to the glasses; these hold the glasses on.
• Don’t get rid of the bridge pieces; they let the lenses sit on your nose and take the actual weight of the lenses.
This idea of hanging eyeglasses from a piercing or a combination of piercings or even transdermal implants won’t give you uncomfortable sleep? Would you substitute your eyeglasses or contact lenses for such ‘Pierced Eyeglasses’?
Few days back I showed you Pierced EyeGlasses by James Sooy. My earlier article was based on old information so we thought to ask James himself concerning anything latest in these Pierced Eyeglasses. And, yes there is lot new which you would like to check out. I have simply put his words for you after every question.
Bodypiercingblog: What instigated you in coming up with such a plan?
James Sooy: I came up with the idea in highschool. A few years later, I found out a friend of mine, Oliver Gilson, had been milling motorcycle parts for himself and asked if he could do something on the scale of the glasses. The answer was yes.
Bodypiercingblog: How much time did you take in accomplishing the set task?
James Sooy: It only took a few minutes to draw out some plans, a couple hours to mill the pieces, but over a month to get the screws we needed.
Bodypiercingblog: Have you done the piercing by own self or did you take
anybody’s assistance?
James Sooy: I went to a local piercing shop in Dallas to have my piercing done.
Bodypiercingblog: Could you shed some light on the material used in making of the eyeglasses?
James Sooy: We used the original stainless steel barbell the peircing shop had given me and milled the brackets out of aluminum. I used some lenses out of an old pair of glasses of mine, and cut the nose pads straight from the old frames.
Bodypiercingblog: Have you launched any marketable version of it?
James Sooy: Nothing as of yet.
Bodypiercingblog: What do you have to say about ’stretching’ or ‘unpleasant tearing’ related to these eyeglasses?
James Sooy: There is no unwanted stretching or tearing associated with modern piercings. Pierced glasses are no exception. We use magnets that allow the lenses to be pulled away harmlessly if they are tugged on.
Bodypiercingblog: Is it more convenient or portable than the ordinary eyeglasses? If yes, how?
James Sooy: There are minor conveniences and inconveniences - it all equals out.
Bodypiercingblog: Can our reader know how much they’ll have to pay to own these eyeglasses?
James Sooy: There’s no way to tell for sure, but they should be around $100 for the frames.

After knowing EyeGlasses and the maker James better, we walked around to ask people what they think about these Eyeglasses...
Some gave a positive response and some negative. There were people, who were still not ready to accept these Pierced EyeGlasses on their nose. One said, ‘He should be insane enough to wear these EyeGlasses.’ Nevertheless, there were some, who liked the concept and said, ‘I would definitely like to pierce these Eyeglasses bridge as they look very different and I love to be different always.’
Please do not say that you did not like it, as it has caught my admiration. Sternum piercing can help me to move out without any necklace. For you, who are not clear with what it is then for your info it is a kind of surface piercing on cleavage.
This is an extreme lip piercing shown here with a CD worn as jewelry. Its not only lip but also the ears are also stretched, as seen in the picture.
Stretching is a long process and should be avoided when the piercing is not fully healed.If the skin around the piercing gets very thin then stop stretching. The easiest way to thicken the tissue is to downsize a few sizes, wait a couple of weeks, and then re-stretch.
Pip Freak a.k.a. Phillip Roomet and Papa Freak a.k.a. Bryan O’Keef sat down on, March 2, to break the record of 1,047 piercings as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, at ‘The Preston and Steve Show“. The created a World record by inserting 1,515 needles in just less than four hours.
Papa Freak inserted around 500 surgical needles into each arm of Pip Freak. After getting a few rows of surgical needles in the back Pip Freak began to get pierced in his chest. Piercing in the chest was painful to Pip Freak. To terminate the record Papa Freak pierced a couple rows into the front of Pip Freak’s leg. Pip Freak used heating pad throughout whole process to shun pain.

Nasal tip piercing or can historically be seen in Northern Africa, Southern Asia, South America, etc. This piercing is also called ‘rhino piercing.’ Rhino or vertical nose piercing, travels through inside front of the nasal and then travels the center and out from the tip.

Recently Scarlett Johansson signed up to film The Other Boleyn Girl with Natalie Portman and last year she showed her septum piercing in which she is wearing a very thin jewelry. It was not her new piercing rather she has her multi-earlobe and tragus piercing. Alike belly button piercing even tragus piercing is gaining popularity in the world of body piercing. She got her tragus piercing in 2005 followed by septum piercing in 2006 and I am hoping to cover a news on her new piercing in 2007.
